Based in the School of Cultural Technology at XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang) within the Academy of Film and Creative Technology, this four-year English-taught programme focuses on cultural technologies, immersive and computational media, and entrepreneurship, with industry partners including China Culture and Media Group Zhong Chuan Fortune and Enlight Media.
XJTLU's four-year English-taught BEng Industrial Design is studio-based, combining visual design with materials, technology, user interaction, socio-cultural context, and innovative business models. Students progress from research and sketching to making in studios, workshops, and fablabs.
A four-year English-taught PhD in Industrial Design at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, delivered jointly with the University of Liverpool; candidates are registered as off-site University of Liverpool researchers, supervised by a principal supervisor at XJTLU and a co-supervisor in Liverpool; full-time study involves three years of research and thesis submission within four years; awards a University of Liverpool degree recognised in China and the UK.
