Chengdu University’s two-semester Chinese Language and Culture Program builds Mandarin for everyday speaking, writing, and comprehension while introducing Chinese traditions and contemporary life. The combination supports later paths in education, tourism, or international exchange.

UESTC’s Chinese as a foreign language programme in Chengdu offers beginner through advanced Mandarin and culture courses across spring (February–June) and autumn (September–December) semesters. After a placement evaluation, students take 16–20 class hours weekly over 16 weeks, plus cultural visits; completers who pass exams receive a university certificate.
