The four-year English-taught BEng Electrical Engineering at XJTLU covers generation (including renewables), transmission, distribution, electromechanical devices, protection, and management, plus the electronic and algorithmic knowledge used in modern electrical systems from small devices to large power networks.

This English-taught BEng Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering with Contemporary Entrepreneurialism programme follows XJTLU's Syntegrative Educational Model as an equal collaboration with industry partner Haier Group at the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Ecosystem, XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang). It is a four-year degree preparing students for intelligent manufacturing engineering and related roles, with entrepreneurship and innovation modules and industry mentoring. The programme includes 600 hours of problem-based internship experience. Study is in purpose-built facilities on XJTLU's Taicang campus (noted in source as opening in 2022), in Taicang's High-Tech Development Zone. Bachelor's graduates earn XJTLU (Chinese Ministry of Education) and University of Liverpool (Russell Group) degrees. By graduation you should understand manufacturing processes and systems, materials, mechanics and dynamics, electronics, and AI applications; know manufacturing management, project management, and innovation concepts and how to apply them; and have transferable communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Career examples include technical, managerial, and leadership roles such as manufacturing process expert or systems engineer, including responsibility for technical operation of an intelligent production line. Further study paths include mechanical/electrical engineering, materials, manufacturing and industrial/technology management, data analysis, and intelligent and control systems.

At the School of Internet of Things in XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang), this four-year English-taught programme partners with Eolane, Alibaba Cloud, and Tencent under the Syntegrative Educational Model. IoT engineering is taught with an industrial and entrepreneurial focus using problem- and project-based learning.

Part of XJTLU's Syntegrative Educational Model at the School of CHIPS in XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang), this four-year English-taught programme collaborates with Standard Science Chip Cloud Microelectronics and the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology on microelectronic science and engineering with an entrepreneurial focus.
