Anhui University Scholarship for International Students

Anhui University Scholarship for International Students is funded by the China Scholarship Council and administered by Anhui University. It provides tuition waivers and monthly living allowances for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students. Awards are renewable annually upon successful assessment and continue until on-schedule graduation.

Overview

Anhui University offers an International Students Scholarship funded by the China Scholarship Council. Recipients who pass annual academic and conduct assessments may retain the scholarship until their scheduled graduation.

Coverage

Undergraduate: tuition waiver of CNY 15,000/year plus CNY 1,000/month living allowance (approx. CNY 27,000/year; maximum 4 years). Master’s: tuition waiver of CNY 18,000/year plus CNY 1,500/month living allowance (approx. CNY 36,000/year; up to 3 years). Doctoral: tuition waiver of CNY 24,000/year plus CNY 2,000/month living allowance (approx. CNY 48,000/year; up to 3 years).

Eligibility

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health with no criminal record, meet Anhui University’s admission requirements, demonstrate strong academic performance, and hold no other scholarships. Age limits are typically under 25 for bachelor’s, under 40 for master’s, and under 45 for doctoral programmes.

Application

The School of International Education publishes the annual application notice each March at http://sie.ahu.edu.cn. Applications must be submitted within 60 days of the notice’s release.

Completed study and scholarship application forms; valid passport copy; highest degree certificate and official transcripts; language proficiency proof (HSK for Chinese-taught programmes; TOEFL or IELTS for English-taught programmes unless native speaker); personal statement; two recommendation letters from professors (required for postgraduate applicants); optional supervisor acceptance letter and list of publications.
