Overview
Anhui University offers scholarships to foreign students enrolled in undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. Tuition is fully exempted and living allowances are paid monthly. Funding duration is up to four years for undergraduates, three years for master’s and doctoral students.
Coverage/Benefits
The scholarship covers full tuition and a monthly living allowance: RMB 1,000 for undergraduates, RMB 1,500 for master’s students, and RMB 2,000 for doctoral students. Accommodation, airfare, health insurance, and settlement allowance are not covered.
Eligibility
Applicants must be foreign nationals in good health with no criminal record. Undergraduate applicants must be generally no older than 25, master’s applicants no older than 40, and doctoral applicants no older than 45. Language requirements include HSK 3, IELTS, or TOEFL, depending on the program of study.
Application
Applications open annually in early March, with submissions required within 60 days of the notice publication on http://sie.ahu.edu.cn. Applicants must submit materials by mail or in person to the Admissions Office of the College of International Education.

Required documents include: Anhui University foreign student application form; scholarship application form; copy of passport; highest academic qualification certificate (or enrollment certificate if currently studying); academic transcripts; language proficiency test results (HSK 3, IELTS, or TOEFL); personal statement; two recommendation letters (for master’s and doctoral applicants); letter of intent to accept (for master’s and doctoral applicants); and academic achievements or publications (if applicable).
