Baixian Asia Future Leaders Scholarship (AFLSP)
The Baixian Asia Future Leaders Scholarship (AFLSP) is managed by the BXAI Institute and supports highly qualified students studying in Asia. It funds up to 10 students annually at Peking University — up to 5 Asian students from the Yanjing Academy and up to 8 Japanese students from other faculties. Recipients must be full-time Peking University students and participate in Baixian- and university-organised activities.

The AFLSP is a partnership between the BXAI Institute and Peking University, aiming to foster cross-cultural understanding and lasting relationships among students and institutions in Asia.
Coverage/Benefits
The scholarship covers tuition fees only. It does not cover accommodation, airfare, health insurance, living allowance or settlement allowance.
Eligibility
Applicants must be Asian students enrolled in the Yanjing Academy or Japanese students enrolled in other faculties at Peking University. They must be proficient in English, demonstrate integrity and interest in cross-cultural issues, and commit to volunteering and the mission of Peking University. Degree levels include bachelor, master and doctoral. Language requirements include HSK-4 level 180 points or HSK-5 level 180 points, depending on programme requirements.
Application
Yanjing Academy applicants are assessed as part of the admission application and selection process. Japanese students from other faculties apply through the Peking University International Students Office; application timing varies yearly and is announced online.
