Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals, physically healthy, law-abiding, and of good moral character. Age limits: ≤35 for master’s, ≤45 for doctoral applicants; undergraduate age limit not specified. Language requirements: HSK 5 (or New HSK 4 with ≥210 points) for Chinese-taught programmes; TOEFL ≥70 or IELTS ≥5.5 for English-taught programmes.
Application
Applications must be submitted by 15 June each year via BTBU’s online application system.
Documents
Required documents include the BTBU international student application form, personal resume, certified academic transcripts and certificates, valid passport copy, physical examination record, language proficiency certificate, two letters of recommendation, study plan (>400 words), and PhD applicants must also submit a dissertation draft. Non-Chinese/English documents require certified translations.
