Beijing Technology and Business University President Scholarship
The Beijing Technology and Business University President Scholarship supports international students enrolled in doctoral, master’s, undergraduate, or Chinese language programmes. It is funded by Beijing Technology and Business University and provides tuition support only. Amounts vary by level: up to 30,000 CNY per year for doctoral students, 4,000–34,000 CNY for master’s, 1,000–24,000 CNY for undergraduates, and 0–24,000 CNY for language students.

Overview
The BTBU President Scholarship is awarded to international students across all majors and degree levels: doctoral, master’s, bachelor’s, and Chinese language programmes.
Coverage
The scholarship covers tuition fees only. Accommodation, monthly stipend, and insurance are not provided. The annual tuition support amount depends on the student’s programme level and is fixed per category.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet BTBU’s general admission requirements, including academic background, language proficiency (HSK, TOEFL, or IELTS), physical health, and conduct standards. Doctoral applicants must be under 45 years old; master’s applicants under 35.
Application
Applications must be submitted by 15 June each year via BTBU’s online admission portal at http://admission.btbu.edu.cn.

Required documents include the BTBU application form, notarised diploma and transcripts, valid passport, physical examination form, HSK/TOEFL/IELTS certificate, CV, a study plan of at least 400 words, thesis proposal (for doctoral applicants), two recommendation letters, and one ID photo sent to [email protected].

Required Documents
- •(1) Beijing Technology and Business University Application Form (printed out from BTBU on line application system http://admission.btbu.edu.cn, please be sure to attach a photo), filled in Chinese or in English.
- •(2) Notarized highest diploma and transcripts (photocopy): Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status by their current school. ( Doctor’s degree applicants need to provide both master and bachelor diplomas and academic records. )
- •(3) A photocopy of the front page of a valid passport. Copy of resident permit if currently in China.
- •(5) Original Chinese language proficient certification or a copy of that with HSK 5or new HSK 4 with score 210 or above, if apply Chinese degree program.
- •(6) The TOEFL iBT score of 70 points at least, or IELTS score at least 5.5 or the relevant certificates of English, if non-native English speaker apply the English program.
- •(7) Resume/CV and study plan (more than 400 words).
- •(8) Thesis proposal . (Only doctoral degree applicants need to provide.)
