BNU Scholarship for New International Students
Beijing Normal University’s Scholarship for New International Students is a university-funded award for newly admitted non-Chinese degree students. It covers full tuition, a monthly living stipend (RMB 2,000 for undergraduates, RMB 2,500 for master’s, RMB 3,000 for PhD), and comprehensive insurance for the standard study period.

Overview
This scholarship supports newly admitted international students enrolling in undergraduate, master’s, or PhD programmes at Beijing Normal University.
Coverage
Covers full tuition for the standard study period; monthly living stipend (undergraduate RMB 2,000, master’s RMB 2,500, PhD RMB 3,000); and comprehensive insurance in China. The award is cancelled if study is extended, suspended, or discontinued.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, in good health, and friendly to China. Undergraduates must rank in the top 3% of entrance scores or be entry-exempted with outstanding performance. Master’s applicants must have excellent bachelor’s results and strong research ability; PhD applicants must have excellent master’s results and strong research ability. Applicants must be newly accepted by BNU for that year and must not hold any other scholarship or financial support from government, department, or organisation.

Application window was 1 January–30 April 2018 (postal postmark prevails). Applicants must follow BNU’s official self-financed student application process.

Required documents include the BNU New International Students Scholarship Application Form, academic transcripts, awards, publications (if available), and standard undergraduate or graduate admissions materials as specified on the International Students Office (ISO) website.
