Central China Normal University’s Scholarship for new foreign students

Central China Normal University’s Presidential Scholarship, established in 2009, offers around 50 annual awards for non-Chinese students enrolling in undergraduate, master’s, or PhD degree programs. It is funded by the university and provides tuition support only: 5 full-tuition waivers, 15 half-tuition waivers, and 30 awards of CNY 2,000–8,000. Applicants must meet age limits based on entry level and hold the required prior qualification.

Overview

Launched in 2009, this scholarship supports non-Chinese students pursuing diploma or degree studies at Central China Normal University. All CCNU degree programs are eligible.

Coverage

5 awards cover full tuition; 15 cover half tuition; 30 provide tuition support ranging from CNY 2,000 to CNY 8,000.

Eligibility

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. Undergraduate applicants must have completed high school and be aged 25 or under; master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be aged 35 or under; PhD applicants must hold a master’s degree and be aged 45 or under.

Application

Applications open annually from 20 April to 20 May. Applicants must apply via http://isao.ccnu.edu.cn and select the scholarship option during the online application process.

Applicants must submit the CCNU study-abroad application form and their highest academic diploma with supporting materials as specified in the online application system.
