Chang’an University’s Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC Type B, Agency No. 10710) supports non-Chinese postgraduate students with full tuition, accommodation, and registration fee waivers, a monthly stipend (RMB 3,000 for master’s; RMB 3,500 for doctorate), and comprehensive medical insurance. Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old; doctoral applicants must hold a master’s degree and be under 40. For Chinese-medium programmes: HSK Band 4 with scores above 180; one-year Chinese language course may be provided. For English-medium programmes: TOEFL iBT 68+ or IELTS 5.5+, or exemption for nationals of English-speaking countries.
Application
Applicants must submit online via the China Scholarship Council portal (studyinchina.csc.edu.cn) and Chang’an University’s admission system (admission.chd.edu.cn). Two printed copies of all forms must be mailed to Chang’an University. The deadline for paper materials was 10 April 2018. Preliminary selection list published before 31 May; final successful list before 30 June; JW201 form and admission notice issued in early July.
