China Academy of Art Scholarship for Foreign Students
The China Academy of Art (CAA) offers an internal scholarship for foreign students who already hold the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship and have studied at CAA’s International Education College for at least one year. Awards range from 6,000 to 40,000 RMB per year depending on degree level. Selection occurs annually in March for one-year awards.

This scholarship is for outstanding foreign students enrolled across all majors at CAA, specifically those continuing their studies after one year or more at the International Education College and already holding the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship.

Annual award amounts: doctoral students 40,000 RMB; master’s students 30,000 RMB; bachelor’s students 20,000 RMB; general/advanced study scholars 6,000 RMB/year (Chinese language) or 12,000 RMB/year (Chinese painting and calligraphy).
Eligibility
Applicants must hold the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship, be enrolled at CAA’s International Education College for at least one year, have no academic penalties or outstanding financial debts, and demonstrate active participation in provincial and university activities.

Applications open each March. The timeline is posted at http://admission.caa.edu.cn. Applicants must download and complete the official form, obtain advisor signature and department seal, then submit via department and International College review.
