The China University of Petroleum (Beijing) Scholarship is a three-tier award for international students across bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and exchange programmes. The China University of Petroleum (Beijing) Scholarship is awarded to outstanding international students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, or exchange programmes at China University of Petroleum (Beijing). Awards are granted in three classes: First, Second, and Third.
Coverage
First Class: full tuition waiver; double-room on-campus accommodation; comprehensive health insurance; monthly stipend for 10 months per year — RMB 1,800 (bachelor’s), RMB 2,000 (master’s), RMB 2,500 (doctoral), RMB 2,000 (exchange). Second Class: full tuition waiver; double-room on-campus accommodation; comprehensive health insurance. Third Class: full tuition waiver; comprehensive health insurance.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health with no criminal record. Minimum GPA requirement is 3.0/5.0. For Chinese-taught programmes, appropriate Chinese proficiency proof is required. For English-taught programmes (non-native English speakers), IELTS ≥6.5 or TOEFL ≥80 is required, or an official certificate confirming ≥2 years of study in English-medium instruction; applicants from native or officially English-speaking countries are encouraged for English-taught tracks.
