Overview
The scholarship is administered by the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to support international students in English-taught master’s and doctoral programmes.
Coverage/Benefits
The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, and comprehensive medical insurance. It also provides monthly stipends of RMB 3,000 for master’s students and RMB 3,500 for doctoral students. It does not cover airfare, living allowance or settlement allowance.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be no older than 35 years; doctoral applicants must hold a master’s degree and be no older than 40 years. No language proficiency proof is required.
Application
Applications are accepted online from 1 November to 30 December each year via the Graduate School’s application system.
Documents
Required documents include the online-generated application form, passport information page, notarised highest degree certificate, original transcripts, two recommendation letters from associate professors or above, personal resume and research plan, medical examination certificate, and published papers or dissertations.
