The Ocean Scholarships are exclusively for students from developing countries pursuing master’s or doctoral studies in marine-related disciplines at Xiamen University.

Coverage/Benefits

The scholarship includes exemption of tuition fees, provision of accommodation, monthly living expenses, and medical insurance. Airfare is covered.

Eligibility

Applicants must be expatriates from developing countries in the South China Sea, Indian Ocean, and Pacific Ocean neighbouring and island countries, as well as Africa and the Americas. Only master’s and doctoral programs in marine-related disciplines are eligible.

Application

Applications are accepted from 1 December to 15 February of the following year. Applications are submitted to the Xiamen University Admission and Examination Office.
