CTUSRS is a dedicated scholarship for trade-union officials, mainly from Belt and Road partner countries, supporting study and exchange related to trade-union capacity building in China.
Coverage
Per person per academic year: • Accommodation: CNY 8,400 • Stipend: CNY 36,000 • Tuition: CNY 25,000 • Medical insurance: CNY 800 • One-time international round-trip airfare (economy class only) Stipend is paid monthly by the host university under standard CSC rules: full payment for registration on or before the 15th of the month; half payment for registration after the 15th. Stipend is suspended during personal absences from China exceeding 15 days.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, preferably from Belt and Road partner countries, in sound physical and mental health, hold at least a high-school certificate, be under age 45, and have at least one year of work experience. Applicants currently holding another Chinese government scholarship are ineligible.
Application
Applicants must follow CTUSRS and China Scholarship Council application guidance for the intake year, including visa application using the Admission Letter and JW201 form, health verification, and residence-permit procedures for stays over six months.
