The Mayor's Scholarship for Foreign Students of Chongqing Municipal People's Government supports bachelor’s and master’s students at Chongqing Normal University. It provides 25,000 RMB per year for undergraduates and 30,000 RMB per year for master’s students. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, under 25 for bachelor’s programs and under 35 for master’s programs.

The Mayor's Scholarship for Foreign Students of Chongqing Municipal People's Government is established by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government to attract outstanding foreign students to Chongqing Normal University.
Coverage/Benefits
Bachelor’s students receive 25,000 RMB per year. Master’s students receive 30,000 RMB per year. The scholarship duration cannot exceed the normal duration of the academic program. It does not cover tuition, accommodation, living allowance, health insurance, airfare, or settlement allowance.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. Bachelor’s applicants must have a qualification equivalent to Chinese high school graduation and be aged ≤25 years. Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be aged ≤35 years. Applicants who have received other Chinese government scholarships are ineligible.
Application
Applicants must submit application materials to the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of Chongqing Normal University by mail (in duplicate) or email before 20 April 2018.
Documents
Required documents include the application form for the Mayor's Scholarship, notarized highest academic qualification and transcripts (with certified Chinese or English translations if needed), a study and research program in Chinese or English, two recommendation letters, a copy of the passport, a certificate of no criminal record, a bank certificate of deposit (≥25,000 RMB), and a Foreigner's Physical Examination Record (not required for current Chongqing Normal University students).
