The scholarship provides annual monetary awards only: first prize is RMB 12,000 for doctoral students, RMB 10,000 for master’s students, and RMB 6,000 for undergraduates and advanced Chinese language students; second prize is RMB 10,000 for doctoral students, RMB 8,000 for master’s students, and RMB 4,000 for undergraduates and advanced Chinese language students. Tuition, accommodation, living allowance, health insurance, airfare, and settlement allowance are not covered.

Applicants must be foreign nationals meeting the university’s admission requirements, physically and mentally healthy, in good academic standing, and not receiving other scholarships simultaneously. No language proficiency requirements are specified.
