Eligibility

Applicants must register and submit materials via the Confucius Institute Scholarship website (cis.chinese.cn) after March 1, 2018. The process includes online application, recommendation by a designated organisation, university review and interview, and final selection by Hanban. Evaluation results are announced two months before enrolment.
Documents
Required documents include a scanned passport photo page, valid HSK/HSKK score reports (within two years), a letter of recommendation from the recommending organisation, academic transcripts and graduation certificates (or expected graduation proof), and for master’s applicants, two letters of recommendation from associate professors or above. In-service teachers must also submit employment certification.
