Coverage
Academic awards are paid annually in RMB: degree students receive 3,000/4,000/5,000 RMB (first class), 2,000/3,000/4,000 RMB (second), or 1,000/2,000/3,000 RMB (third), depending on level (bachelor’s/master’s/PhD). Language students receive 3,000/2,000/1,000 RMB respectively. Individuality awards are 500 RMB each for activity, innovation, full attendance, or special contribution.
Eligibility
Degree students must maintain ≥85–95% attendance, average scores of 80–90+ depending on class, complete ≥15 credits per year, and be enrolled for at least one year. Language students follow similar GPA and attendance thresholds. Disqualification applies for law violations or multiple core course failures (undergrad) or degree course failures (graduate).
Application
Degree students apply in September; language students apply in March or September. Individuality award applicants must submit supporting evidence with the application form.
