DUT International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship
The Dalian University of Technology International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship is funded by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation. It supports non-Chinese citizens in MTCSOL, one-academic-year, one-semester, and four-week Chinese language study or teacher training. Overview
This scholarship, administered by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, supports non-Chinese citizens training to become Chinese language teachers, hosted by Dalian University of Technology.
Coverage
Full tuition, on-campus accommodation (usually double room) or off-campus allowance (CNY 1,000/month for doctoral students; CNY 700/month for others), monthly living allowance, and comprehensive medical insurance.
Eligibility
Non-Chinese citizens aged 16–35 (in-service Chinese teachers up to 45; undergraduate applicants up to 25), in good physical and mental health, with strong academic performance and conduct, and committed to Chinese language education.
Application
Register online at cis.chinese.cn from 1 March. Application deadlines (Beijing time): mid-April (for July start), mid-May (for September start), mid-September (for December start), mid-November (for March 2022 start). Results are published about three months before classes begin.

Passport photo page; valid HSK/HSKK reports (within two years); reference letter from recommending institution; highest diploma and transcript; MTCSOL applicants require two professor references; in-service teachers must provide employment proof; applicants under 18 must submit documentation of a China-based guardian.
