Coverage
Each award is RMB 2,000, disbursed once per rotation evaluation cycle. There are three appraisal cycles during the clinical practice period.
Eligibility
Applicants must be full-time, self-funded international undergraduate students with active student status at Fujian Medical University. They must comply with laws of the People’s Republic of China and university regulations, have no disciplinary warnings or higher during the appraisal period, pay all fees (tuition, accommodation, insurance) on time, pass all rotation evaluation tests without absence or make-up exams, and fully complete internship requirements as outlined in the Practice Outline for Internship while adhering to hospital and instructor teaching arrangements.
Application
Appraisal occurs once after each rotation evaluation test, for a total of three times during clinical practice. The Overseas Education College (OEC) counsellor and academic staff coordinate with the Clinical Medical College to propose a preliminary list. The OEC Student Award Appraisal Leading Group conducts the preliminary assessment, followed by a three-working-day public announcement in the college. Uncontested results are submitted to the Fujian Medical University International Student Award Appraisal Leading Group for final approval, followed by a three-working-day university-wide announcement.
