The scholarship covers full tuition, comprehensive insurance, single-room accommodation, and a monthly living allowance of RMB 2,000. Airfare and settlement allowance are not covered.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, hold a master's degree, and be no older than 45 years. Fresh master's graduates must submit their master's degree certificate or thesis defence pass certificate before enrollment. Applicants who have applied for Chinese Government or Local Government Scholarships are ineligible.
Application
Applications are accepted annually from March through June. Applicants may apply online via the School of International Education’s application system or submit paper-based materials.
Documents
Required documents include: completed Junwu Scholarship Application Form (in Chinese or English); notarised master's diploma and transcripts (in Chinese or English); study and research programme in China (in Chinese or English); two recommendation letters from professors or equivalent; and Physical Examination Form for Foreigners (in Chinese or English).
