Overview
The Junwu Scholarship supports international doctoral candidates for three years of full-time study in any doctoral program at Guangxi University. Applications are accepted between March and June each year.
Coverage
The scholarship covers full tuition fees, on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance, and a living stipend of RMB 2,000 per month.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, hold a master’s degree (or provide proof of thesis defence if the degree certificate is pending), and be under 45 years of age. Priority is given to applicants proficient in Chinese or English, those with prior study experience in China, or those from English-speaking countries.

Applications may be submitted online via the International Education College scholarship portal or offline by submitting four complete sets of application documents.

Required documents include: a completed application form with passport photo and signature; two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors (in Chinese or English); notarised copies of the highest academic transcript and diploma; and any additional materials specified by the admissions office. HSK certificates and academic publications are optional.
