Overview
This scholarship is jointly offered by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education and Guizhou University for citizens of ASEAN countries pursuing undergraduate, master's, doctoral, or advanced Chinese language studies at Guizhou University.
Coverage/Benefits
Full scholarships cover tuition, on-campus accommodation, medical insurance, and a monthly living allowance (RMB 1000 for undergraduates, RMB 1200 for master's students, RMB 1500 for doctoral students). Partial scholarships waive tuition and on-campus accommodation fees only.
Eligibility
Applicants must be citizens of ASEAN countries, in good health, with no adverse conduct records. Undergraduate applicants must be ≤30 years old and hold a high school diploma; master's applicants ≤35 years old with a bachelor's degree; doctoral applicants ≤40 years old with a master's degree. All degree applicants must meet HSK Level 4 or complete one year of preparatory Chinese language study.

Applications must be submitted by 15 June. Applicants must select a programme from Guizhou University’s official degree catalogue and submit materials electronically or by post.

Required documents include the Guizhou Scholarship Application Form, CV, Physical Examination Form for Foreigners, passport photo page, highest education certificate, academic transcripts, study/research plan (600+ words for undergraduates, 1000+ for master's/doctoral), and evidence of awards or achievements if applicable.
