Coverage/Benefits
Full scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, living expenses, and comprehensive medical insurance. Partial scholarship covers tuition only. Airfare and settlement allowance are not covered.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens. Bachelor applicants must have completed high school; master's applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree equivalent to that granted by a Chinese university; doctoral applicants must hold a master’s degree equivalent to that granted by a Chinese university. Minimum language requirement: HSK Level 5 for Chinese-medium programs.

Applications are accepted from January 1 to May 30 each year. Applicants must complete the online application via http://admission.hhu.edu.cn.
Documents
Required documents include: scanned copies of passport and visa; notarized graduation and highest degree certificates (or proof of expected graduation for fresh graduates); original or notarized transcripts; HSK5 certificate (for Chinese-medium programs) or English proficiency proof (for English-medium programs); 400–800-word personal statement; abstracts of published papers; two letters of recommendation; and health certificate for foreigners.
