Coverage/Benefits
First Class Scholarship: full tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation, and living allowance (RMB 1,000/month for undergraduate and master's; RMB 1,200/month for doctoral). Second Class Scholarship: full tuition waiver. Third Class Scholarship: half-year tuition waiver. Airfare, health insurance, and settlement allowance are not covered.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens. Undergraduate applicants require notarized high school graduation certificate and transcripts (average score ≥85); master's applicants require notarized bachelor’s degree and transcripts (average score ≥85); doctoral applicants require notarized master’s degree and transcripts (average score ≥85). Language requirements: HSK Level 1 for Chinese-medium programs; IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80 (or equivalent) for English-medium programs. Applicants must not hold another scholarship.
Application
Applications must be submitted by June 10 each year. Applicants obtain and complete the Huashan Scholarship application form from the College of International Education or http://sie.xidian.edu.cn, then submit it with supporting documents to the College of International Education.

Required documents include: Huashan Scholarship application form; notarized highest degree certificate; original transcripts of all courses; letters of recommendation; and study or research plan (≥800 words, in Chinese or English).
