Application
Applications are submitted in two steps: first via the East China Normal University International Education Center online system (http://lxsapply.ecnu.edu.cn/), then via the International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship portal (http://cis.chinese.cn). The application fee is ¥800. Preliminary review is followed by a video interview; final results are issued by the Center for Sino-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation.

Required documents include the online application form, passport photo page, valid HSK/HSKK score reports (within 2 years), a letter of recommendation, proof of highest academic qualification and transcripts, a personal statement, the Foreigner's Physical Examination Record, and a certificate of no criminal record.
