The scholarship covers tuition fees only. It is awarded in three tiers per category: Category A (doctoral) ranges from RMB 5,500 to 22,000 per year; Category B (master's) from RMB 4,000 to 16,000; Category C (undergraduate) from RMB 3,500 to 14,000; Category D (exchange) from RMB 3,000 to 12,000. It does not cover accommodation, airfare, health insurance, living allowance, or settlement allowance.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold foreign nationality and passports, be friendly to China, in good health, and abide by Chinese laws and university regulations. Age limits vary: ≤40 for doctoral (Category A), ≤35 for master's (Category B), ≤30 for undergraduate (Category C); no age limit for exchange students (Category D). Academic performance, conduct, and participation in university activities are assessed.
Application
Applications are submitted annually to the International Cooperation and Exchange Office. The deadline follows the university’s annual enrollment prospectus.

Required documents include the scholarship application form, notarised academic certificates and transcripts (or current transcripts), passport copy, health certificate, two letters of recommendation, and a study plan with character appraisal (or teacher appraisal for enrolled students).
