Jilin University “Golden Bean” International Students’ Scholarship

Jilin University’s ‘Golden Bean’ Scholarship, sponsored by Jilin Province Golden Bean Industry Group Co., Ltd., awards CNY 2,000 each to 30 self-funded international students currently enrolled at Jilin University. Eligibility requires ≥80% attendance and top 5% academic ranking among international peers in the same course in the prior year, with no failed exams or disciplinary records. Research contributions are prioritised.

Sponsored by Jilin Province Golden Bean Industry Group Co., Ltd., this scholarship recognises outstanding self-funded international students at Jilin University and promotes friendship between China and students’ home countries. Thirty students receive CNY 2,000 each.

Eligibility

Applicants must be self-funded international students currently enrolled at Jilin University, with sound conduct, ≥80% attendance in the prior academic year, academic performance ranked in the top 5% among international students in the same course, and no failed examinations or disciplinary violations. Preference is given to those with research outputs such as conference presentations or publications in high-quality international journals.

Application

Applicants must download the application form from http://cie.jlu.edu.cn, obtain faculty endorsement, and submit documents to Room 109, Friendship Guesthouse, College of International Education. A joint review panel evaluates applications; shortlisted candidates are interviewed; results are posted by the College of International Education.
