JUFE-Scholarship for international students

Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) offers a tiered scholarship for international students across four categories: PhD (A), master’s (B), undergraduate (C), and non-degree/exchange (D). Each category has three annual award tiers applied as tuition offsets. Total annual funding is capped at 200,000 RMB, supporting up to 15% of eligible students.

Coverage

Award amounts are applied as tuition offsets: Category A (PhD) — 22,000 RMB (first year), 11,000 RMB (second), 5,500 RMB (third); Category B (master’s) — 16,000 RMB, 8,000 RMB, 4,000 RMB; Category C (undergraduate) — 14,000 RMB, 7,000 RMB, 3,500 RMB; Category D (non-degree/exchange) — 12,000 RMB, 6,000 RMB, 3,000 RMB.

Eligibility

Applicants must be foreign nationals admitted to JUFE, in good health, with no disciplinary record, and must not hold any other Chinese government or institutional scholarship. Age limits apply: under 40 for PhD, under 35 for master’s, under 30 for undergraduate; no age limit for non-degree/exchange students.

Application

Applications are accepted once per academic year, aligned with the deadlines published in JUFE’s annual international student enrollment guide. Completed applications must be submitted in duplicate to the Office of Cooperation and International Exchange.

JUFE Scholarship Application Form, notarised diploma and academic transcript, valid passport copy, physical examination record (Form JW201 or JW202), two recommendation letters, study plan, and HSK certificate (HSK4+ for undergraduate Chinese-taught programmes; HSK5+ for graduate Chinese-taught programmes).
