Lanzhou University of Science and Technology Presidential Scholarship

Overview

This university scholarship supports non-Chinese citizens enrolled in bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree programs at Lanzhou University of Technology.

Coverage/Benefits

First-class scholarship covers 100% of annual tuition; second-class covers 50%. All recipients receive a 10,000 RMB/year living allowance, disbursed over 10 months. An additional individual scholarship of 5,000 RMB/year is available.

Eligibility

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid ordinary passport and be in good health. Bachelor's applicants must be aged ≤25 years; master's applicants ≤35 years; doctoral applicants ≤40 years. Applicants must not have received other Chinese government scholarships and must hold HSK Level 7.

Application

Applications are accepted annually from March 1 to July 1. Applicants submit paper materials to the College of International Education.

Documents

Required documents include the university's foreign student application form, photocopy of passport, notarised highest academic qualification certificate (with Chinese or English translation), academic transcripts (with translation), a 500-word study or research plan in both Chinese and English, two letters of recommendation (in both languages), and an original HSK certificate (for new students) or prior-year transcripts (for current students).
