Ningxia University Scholarship for Studying in China

The Ningxia University Scholarship for Studying in China is a university-funded full-rate scholarship for international bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and language program students. It covers tuition, accommodation, living expenses, and comprehensive medical insurance, at rates of 2,500 RMB/month for undergraduates, 3,000 RMB/month for master’s students, and 3,500 RMB/month for doctoral students.

Overview

The Ningxia University Scholarship for Studying in China is a full-rate university scholarship established in 2017 for international students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, or language programs. It supports the university’s internationalisation and ‘Double First Class’ development goals.

Coverage/Benefits

The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, living expenses, and comprehensive medical insurance. Rates are 2,500 RMB/month for undergraduates, 3,000 RMB/month for master’s students, and 3,500 RMB/month for doctoral students. Airfare and settlement allowance are not covered.

Eligibility

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, friendly to China, and in good physical and mental health. Undergraduate applicants must be no older than 25 years old and hold a high school diploma. Master’s and doctoral applicants must hold relevant prior degrees and meet respective age limits (≤35 and ≤40). All applicants must provide HSK Level 4 certification, except those applying for the Chinese Language and Literature undergraduate program.

Application

Applications are accepted from March to June each year. Applicants must select a major, complete the scholarship application form, and submit materials to the School of International Education, Ningxia University.

Required documents include the Ningxia University Scholarship Application Form, copies and notarised originals of highest education certificates, academic transcripts with notarised translations, a study or research plan, two letters of recommendation (for master’s and doctoral applicants), a passport copy, Foreigner’s Physical Examination Form, certificate of no criminal record, and HSK transcripts.
