Northeast Forestry University Scholarship for Outstanding Foreign Students

The Northeast Forestry University Chancellor’s Award is an annual merit-based scholarship for outstanding self-funded international students. Funded by Northeast Forestry University, it offers three award classes with fixed amounts per degree level. It is open to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students enrolled at the university.

Overview

The Chancellor’s Award recognises outstanding foreign students to support academic excellence and strengthen NEFU’s international environment. Selection is fair, open, and merit-based. All NEFU degree programmes are eligible.

Coverage

Total annual scholarship pool: RMB 300,000. Awards are granted for one academic year. Approximately 30% of self-funded international students may be selected.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold foreign nationality with a valid passport, be physically and mentally healthy, and demonstrate strong character and academic performance. In-school students must rank in the top 30% of their major and have no record of violating Chinese law or university regulations. Applicants must not be receiving scholarships from the Chinese government or other external organisations.

Application

Applications are accepted annually from 1 March to 30 June. Applicants must submit two copies of the completed scholarship application form in Chinese or English, following NEFU’s official requirements.
