Overview

Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals, aged 18–35, physically and mentally healthy, and hold a bachelor's degree. They must achieve HSK Level 6 (minimum 210 total points, with at least 65 in writing) and HSKK Intermediate (minimum 60 points). Serving Chinese language teachers must also provide employment certification and a recommendation letter from their institution.
Application
Applicants must complete two online applications: one via Peking University's international student portal (http://www.studyatpku.com) under programme code ICLTS-MTCSOL, and another via cis.chinese.cn. Paper materials—including signed application forms, degree certificates, transcripts, two academic recommendations, HSK/HSKK reports, passport copy, and employment documentation (if applicable)—must be mailed via China Post (EMS) by 30 April 2024 to Room 335, International Students Office, Peking University, Beijing 100871.
