Peking University (Overseas Students) Scholarship
Peking University’s Overseas Students Scholarship, established in 2012, supports outstanding international undergraduate and postgraduate freshmen. It is funded by Peking University and covers tuition, a monthly stipend (including living allowance), and medical insurance for full awards, or tuition only for partial awards. Eligible students must hold a PKU offer as overseas freshmen and not receive other scholarships; professional, joint, or English-taught programs are excluded.

Overview
The Peking University (Overseas Students) Scholarship was established in 2012 to support outstanding international students beginning undergraduate or postgraduate degree study at Peking University.
Coverage
Full scholarships cover tuition fees, a monthly stipend (including living allowance), and medical insurance. Partial scholarships cover tuition fees only. Duration is typically 1 year for undergraduate, 2–3 years for master’s, 4 years for PhD, and 5 years for direct PhD programmes.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold an offer of admission to Peking University as overseas freshmen and must not already be receiving another scholarship. Students enrolled in professional degree, joint degree, or English-taught programmes are not eligible.
Application
Applications open annually from March to April via http://www.studyatpku.com (Scholarship Application → New student). Applicants must submit a letter of appeal to the International Student Development Office (ISD) before the deadline. Renewal requires annual appraisal each April.
