President Scholarship for International Students of Shanghai University of Sport

Overview
Launched in 2018, this scholarship supports up to 85 international students annually in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programmes at Shanghai University of Sport (SUS). Programmes must be fully delivered in Chinese or English. Only the undergraduate major in International Education of Chinese Language (Sports Business Chinese Language) is eligible at bachelor level; all three-year master’s and doctoral majors are eligible.

Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, with academic qualifications matching the target programme. Master’s applicants must be under age 30; doctoral applicants under age 35.

Applications are accepted from 1 January to 30 June each year. Applicants may apply online via http://cice.sus.edu.cn, by email, or by phone.

Required documents include: (1) SUS International Student Application Form (with photo); (2) valid passport copy; (3) notarised diploma and degree certificates (with Chinese or English translation if needed); (4) notarised transcripts (with Chinese or English translation if needed); (5) English proficiency certificate; (6) CV in English (including education, work experience, research achievements, and study plan); (7) two recommendation letters from associate professors or above; (8) application fee of RMB 500 (non-refundable). Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
