Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, not recipients of other scholarships, and meet degree-specific age and academic requirements: undergraduate applicants must be high school graduates under age 25; master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under age 35.
Application
Applications must be submitted to Mudanjiang Normal University by 20 March each year. Documents are reviewed by MNU and forwarded to the China Scholarship Council. Successful applicants receive admission documents including the JW202 form by early July and must register by end of August.

Required documents include: (1) Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form; (2) notarised highest diploma and transcripts (prospective graduates must submit official proof of student status); (3) two recommendation letters signed by professors or associate professors; (4) copy of valid HSK certificate (if available); (5) passport bio-page copy; (6) Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy). All non-Chinese/English documents require notarised translations.
