Overview

Eligibility

Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals aged under 45 (born after 1 September 1972), hold a bachelor’s or associate degree with at least two years’ work experience, have no criminal record, be proficient in English, and possess foundational knowledge in management, economics, international trade, project financing, or asset development. Applicants who previously studied in China or received a Chinese Government Scholarship are ineligible.

Application

Applications must be submitted via the Chinese Government Scholarship Study Abroad Management Information System by 10 August 2017. Successful applicants receive admission notices and JW201 visa forms directly from YUFE or the Chinese Embassy.

Documents

Required documents include: signed application form with 2-inch photo; personal statement (500+ words); bachelor’s degree certificate and transcripts; two recommendation letters from company executives or associate professors or above (with contact details); English proficiency certificate; and passport copy (personal information page). Original or notarised documents must be submitted upon registration.
