Scholarship for Outstanding Chinese Language Students of ZUST

ZUST’s Scholarship for Outstanding Advanced Level Chinese Language Students awards RMB 2,000, RMB 1,500, or RMB 1,000 to top-performing international Chinese language students. Quotas are approximately 2%, 4%, and 6% of the cohort per tier. Applicants must score at least 90 in their final-term evaluation and have no more than 20 absences across teaching periods. Evaluation occurs each term, with deadlines on 30 June and 10 January.

Overview

This scholarship recognises outstanding advanced-level Chinese language students at Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST).

Coverage

First level: RMB 2,000 (approx. 2% of cohort); second level: RMB 1,500 (approx. 4%); third level: RMB 1,000 (approx. 6%).

Eligibility

Applicants must be officially registered, self-funded advanced-level Chinese language students at ZUST in good health. Final-term evaluation score must be at least 90. Total absences (including illness, personal leave, and truancy) must not exceed 20 teaching periods. Applicants must also actively participate in social service and other university or international college activities.

Application

Evaluated every term. Submit materials to the International Student Affairs Center before 30 June or 10 January. Candidates are announced publicly at term end.
