Scholarship for Outstanding Self-funded International Students of Fujian Medical University
Fujian Medical University’s Scholarship for Outstanding Self-funded International Students rewards continuing full-time self-funded undergraduates (excluding freshmen) with strong academic performance. Up to 18% of eligible students per grade and major receive awards at three levels: RMB 7,000, 5,000, or 3,000 per year. Applications must be submitted within three months after the academic year begins.

Overview
This scholarship is awarded annually to outstanding self-funded international undergraduate students at Fujian Medical University. No more than 18% of self-funded international students per grade and major may receive the award.
Coverage
Three award levels: first prize RMB 7,000 per year (awarded to approximately 3% of eligible candidates), second prize RMB 5,000 per year (approximately 6%), and third prize RMB 3,000 per year (approximately 9%).
Eligibility
Applicants must be full-time self-funded international undergraduates with active student status at Fujian Medical University (freshmen are excluded). They must comply with Chinese laws and university regulations, and achieve overall academic grades within the top 60% of their grade or class. Disqualification applies for disciplinary warnings or worse, ≥20 class absences in a semester, failure in any compulsory course, late payment of fees, or being in clinical practice.
Application
Applications must be submitted in writing to the academic counsellor within three months after the start of the academic year. The Overseas Education College and university award committee assess applications, publicise results for three working days, and issue final approval.
