Scholarship of Yunnan University
Yunnan University Scholarship supports full-time international bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD students with tuition and accommodation coverage. Funded by Yunnan University, it lasts up to 4 years for bachelor’s and doctoral programmes or 3 years for master’s. Applicants must have lived outside China for at least six years and meet age and HSK requirements.

Yunnan University Scholarship supports full-time international students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree programmes at Yunnan University.
Coverage
Covers tuition fee and accommodation fee. Duration is 4 years for bachelor’s and doctoral programmes, and 3 years for master’s programmes.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens who have lived outside China for at least six years and be in good health. Age limits: under 24 for bachelor’s, under 35 for master’s, under 40 for PhD. Language requirements: HSK 4 for bachelor’s; HSK 5 for master’s and PhD.

Direct applicants must submit materials to the Section of International Programs, School of International Education, Yunnan University by 20 May. Three copies of all required documents must be submitted. Application forms are available at http://www.sie.ynu.edu.cn/downloads/.

Required documents: Yunnan University scholarship application form (undergraduate or postgraduate version) with photo; Foreigner Physical Examination Form (copy only; keep original); notarised highest-degree certificate in Chinese or English (or Study Certificate + notarisation for graduating students); study/research proposal of at least 800 words in Chinese or English; two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors; copies of published articles or papers; HSK certificate copy; three recent photographs and passport copy.
