Coverage/Benefits

Covers tuition only. Undergraduate English-taught Clinical Medicine: full (34,000 RMB), half (17,000 RMB), quarter (8,500 RMB), or general (5,000 RMB) scholarships. Undergraduate Chinese-taught Clinical Medicine: full (30,000 RMB), half (15,000 RMB), quarter (7,500 RMB). Master's: full (35,000 RMB), half (17,500 RMB). Doctoral: full (38,000 RMB). Accommodation, airfare, health insurance, living allowance, and settlement allowance are not covered.

Eligibility

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens enrolled in undergraduate, master's, doctoral, or language programmes. Age requirement: 18–30 years for undergraduates and master's, up to 35 for doctoral students. Chinese-taught programmes require HSK 4 or above; those without it must complete a preparatory Chinese course. Academic requirements include high school graduation (undergraduate), bachelor's degree (master's), or master's degree (doctoral), with subject relevance and performance standards.

Application

Applications are submitted via the online system at http://admission.njmu.edu.cn/ between 1 January and 30 June. After preliminary review, accepted applicants pay a registration fee and enrollment deposit. Upon confirmation, NJMU issues an enrollment notice and JW202 form for visa application.

Documents

Valid passport copy; notarised highest education/degree certificate and transcript (with Chinese or English translation if needed); certificate of no criminal record; study/research plan (≥1,000 words); two recommendation letters from professors (for graduate programmes); published papers or monographs (for graduate programmes); other attachments as required.
