Overview
This scholarship is awarded to outstanding new international students enrolling at Shandong University. It has three tiers: Excellence (First Class), Merit (Second Class), and Endeavor (Third Class), with varying levels of financial support.
Coverage/Benefits
Excellence Scholarship (Class A) covers full tuition for two or more years plus a monthly living allowance aligned with China Scholarship Council accommodation standards. Class B covers full tuition for the same period. Merit Scholarship offers 50–100% of first-year tuition plus 30% for remaining years (Class A) or 50–100% for first year only (Class B). Endeavor Scholarship provides 10–20% of annual tuition plus an equivalent registration fee scholarship.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals holding foreign passports, friendly to China, physically and mentally healthy, law-abiding, and meeting Shandong University’s admission requirements. They must not concurrently receive other scholarships or financial assistance.
Application
Applications are accepted February–May annually. Applicants must submit the Freshman Scholarship Application Form, transcripts, and two recommendation letters via email to [email protected]. Original documents must be mailed to the International Student Enrollment Office.
