Coverage/Benefits
The scholarship provides a one-time grant of $10,000 for the first year. It does not cover tuition, accommodation, airfare, health insurance, living allowance, or settlement allowance.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens from Belt and Road countries, aged 18–30 for undergraduate and language programmes or 18–45 for master's programmes, and meet the academic requirements for their chosen programme. Language programme applicants must hold an HSK 4 certificate or above.
Application
Applications are accepted year-round from 1 January to 31 December. Applicants must apply via the university’s online system and submit materials electronically and by post.
Documents
Required documents include the completed application form, academic qualification certificates (with certified Chinese/English translations if needed), transcripts, health examination certificate, research plan (for master's applicants), HSK 4 certificate, passport copy, eight passport photos, two letters of recommendation (for master's applicants), proof of current enrolment (if already in China), and a financial guarantee letter or deposit certificate.
