For five-year bachelor’s programs: RMB 2,250 per academic year (total RMB 9,000) for less than two semesters; RMB 4,500 per academic year (total RMB 18,000) for two or more semesters. The amount is calculated based on the tuition fee standard for Chinese language further study, excluding preparatory or elective course fees.
Eligibility
Applicants must be foreign nationals, full-time self-financed freshmen applying for a bachelor’s degree, and must have completed at least one semester of Chinese language study at the university with ≥80% attendance and passing all Chinese Language Teaching Center exams. They must not hold the Chinese Government Scholarship, Shanghai Municipal Government B Scholarship, or the Pre-primary Scholarship for Foreign Students concurrently.
