SHUTCM Degree Stipend for International Postgraduate Students
SHUTCM’s Graduate Degree Stipend provides one-time financial support of RMB 8,000, RMB 6,000, or RMB 4,000 to full-time international master’s and doctoral students who meet academic and prior-degree criteria. Eligibility
Applicants must be non-PRC citizens in good health, comply with Chinese laws and university regulations, and maintain excellent academic performance. They must not hold Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC), except the CSC Excellent Self-Support Scholarship, nor Shanghai Government Scholarship or SHUTCM Discipline Assistance Fund (Full Amount). Master’s applicants require specific prior degrees (e.g., two master’s or one doctoral for Type A); doctoral applicants have distinct prior-degree and research achievement requirements.

Application deadline was 15 March 2018. A stipend evaluation panel reviews applications and may conduct interviews, phone calls, or email assessments. Results are issued in writing and publicly displayed for at least three working days after enrollment.

- •Doctoral Type A: one prior doctoral degree; Type B: 7-year bachelor–master from SHUTCM or two master’s (or specified part-time doctoral prior degrees); Type C: one master’s in Chinese Medicine, Medicine, or MSc Pharmacology with significant research or influential papers.
