Southern Medical University Outstanding International Students Scholarship for Freshmen
The Southern Medical University Outstanding International Students Scholarship for Freshmen is a one-time cash award for newly enrolled self-funded international students. Doctoral freshmen receive 30,000 CNY, master’s 20,000 CNY, and bachelor’s 10,000 CNY. Recipients remain responsible for all standard self-funded tuition and fees.

This is a one-time scholarship for newly enrolled self-funded international students across all majors at Southern Medical University.
Coverage
One-time cash award paid after registration. Doctoral freshmen: 30,000 CNY. Master’s freshmen: 20,000 CNY. Bachelor’s freshmen: 10,000 CNY. All standard self-funded tuition and fees remain payable by the student.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-PRC citizens meeting age, academic, conduct, health, and language requirements.
Application
Applications must be submitted to the School of International Education before 15 July 2018. Bachelor’s applicants must include a personal statement on willingness to continue as self-funded if the scholarship is not awarded.

All applicants must submit standard admission materials plus a personal statement. Bachelor’s applicants must also provide recommendation letters from their headmaster and a teacher.
