Special Scholarship for International Students of School of Chemical Engineering, Tianjin University

Overview

The scholarship is offered by the School of Chemical Engineering at Tianjin University to support outstanding foreign undergraduate students enrolled in its programmes.

Coverage/Benefits

First-class scholarships cover full tuition (20,000 RMB/year) and a monthly living allowance of 2,400 RMB. Second-class scholarships cover full tuition (20,000 RMB/year) and a monthly living allowance of 1,400 RMB. The scholarship level is adjusted annually based on academic performance.

Eligibility

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport and be aged 18–35. They must have a recognised high school graduation certificate. Language requirements: HSK Level 4 (180+) for Chinese-taught programmes; TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.0 for English-taught programmes.

Application

Applicants must submit the Application Form for Admission of Foreign Students and the Application Form for Scholarship for Foreign Students (Chemical Engineering) to the Admission Office for Foreign Students before 30 April each year.

Documents

Required documents include the admission and scholarship application forms, notarised highest academic qualification certificate (or expected graduation certificate), academic transcripts with notarised English/Chinese translation, passport copy, language proficiency certificate, and certificate of no criminal record.
