Coverage/Benefits
Full scholarships include tuition and enrolment fees, accommodation, living expenses, and comprehensive medical insurance. Half scholarships cover tuition and enrolment fees only. Airfare and settlement allowance are not covered.
Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, without criminal record. Undergraduate applicants must have a senior high school qualification equivalent to China’s and be ≤25 years old; master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be ≤35; doctoral applicants must hold a master’s degree and be ≤40. Chinese language proficiency (HSK 4) is required, though may be relaxed for English-taught majors. Applicants must not hold other scholarships concurrently.
Application
Applications open annually from May to June. Applicants must submit the TUST Scholarship application form and supporting materials to the International Exchange Office. Doctoral and master’s applicants must secure supervisor agreement and college endorsement in advance.

Applicants must provide the scholarship application form, academic transcripts and certificates (with notarised English or Chinese translations if needed), letters of recommendation (for master’s and doctoral applicants), proof of language proficiency, and a study plan.
